Attack on Titan ending - good or bad

Attack on Titan will go down in history as one of the greatest anime series to ever exist the entertainment it has provided all of us is unprecedented in modern television. A show so good and impactful that it has changed the world and more than likely changed thousands of people's lives. Recently the show has come to a spectacular finish. Let's see good and bad parts Attack on Titan ending.

The things that ruined the good parts of Attack on Titan ending

Attack on Titan ending

The final battle on the back of the founding Titan. But it is equally as bad as Hanji's pointless death because of the miraculous survival flock who got shot in the chest and then just hung onto the back of the boat for hours as they crossed the sea to catch up with the rumbling. Then also knows exactly where to shoot the flying boat to hit its fuel tank but also hits it just enough that it's not all that hard to fix. In fact, it takes just enough time for Hanji to kill herself, and then they fix up the plane just fine. Don't know how Falco just figures out he can turn into a bird; wouldn't it have just made more sense to have Hanji the Titan researcher figure out that Falco might be able to turn into a bird? But all of that aside, the point is that the ending is just a confusing mess of nonsense that doesn't reveal any answers to the questions anyone has and downright ruins the character of Eren Jaeger.

This can have different interpretations, like Eren always dreaming of the outside world that was empty and open for exploration, or you can connect it to my interpretation that he was never even in control in the first place. So, he doesn't know why because it's not his goal; he just feels like it's his goal when in reality he's just a puppet to Ymir. Eren's killer line is followed by Armin's best line in the series, by far Eren's "Thank you. You became a mass murderer for our sake at least."

If for any reason Zeke survived episode that it wouldn't make any sense and I was right Zeke had no control at this point when Eren and Zeke battled for Ymir's control in the paths. Eren was eventually Victorious giving her Freedom. So, why is it that the Founder's power still needs to be filtered through Zeke the fact that he has Royal Blood it means nothing because Ymir supposedly doesn't follow the Roy family's orders anymore but that's only if you assume Eren actually freed Ymir. The twist of the ending along with the main reason I think the ending is piss poor is that Ymir manipulated Eren and controlled all of time and history throughout the entire show nullifying everything that had happened Eren never freed her she just got control over him.

Some of the awesome things about the ending

Attack on Titan ending

The things that just put a smile on the face of all AOT fans, like Mikasa kissing Eren's gross, decapitated head. I'm sure someone out there finds this hot. Also, they're happy. It did just end up being some random farmers. But I hope Historia lives a nice, happy life knowing that her inaction led directly to the genocide and deaths of half of humanity and the eventual downfall of her own country. Because Eren told her his plan and she did nothing to stop him. In fact, she helped him by running off and having the kid; at least she won't remember it. Because Eren said he would erase her memory of ever knowing she betrayed humanity well until Eren died anyway and her memories probably came back. The last thing you saw of Reiner was him sniffing a letter, and of course you can't forget Eren reincarnating himself as a bird to wrap Mikasa's scarf around her. He and Falco are a lot more similar than I thought, and hopefully Jon doesn't find out the real reason Mikasa picked up bird watching in her old age.

Conclusion:

The ending messed everything in our heads. Some illogical moments, like Falco turning into a bird. Hanji's death ruined good parts of Attack on Titan. From the beginning, everyone liked Eren's attitude and his unbreakable will to bring peace. But he turned everything upside down in only one episode. We thought this was all Eren's plan from the beginning and manipulated everything. But he was just manipulated by Ymir. In his whole life, he's just a puppet of Ymir. These things are reality. but I don't want to accept the ending of AoT like this.
